The Share Decentralized Application (dApp) is the first user interface that leverages and expresses the capabilities of the Share Protocol.
The dApp enables creators to directly distribute their content (audio or video) on a per-access (stream) basis to consumers through a web interface located at Users of the application include creators who are distributing content and consumers who are streaming content. The dApp features:
  • A web3 wallet connection. Explicitly supported wallets are Metamask and Coinbase Wallet.
  • A method for creators to generate customized Pay-for-Access (PFA) smart contracts.
  • An interface where users can stream (view or listen to) content.
  • Content charts by transaction volume.
  • A way for consumers to pay for and stream content using cryptocurrency (currently ETH or MATIC) or using Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • Automatic splitting of revenues between the creators and collaborators using smart contracts.
  • Direct deposits of sales revenues into the wallets of content owners.
