Receiving Realtime Royalty Payouts

This guide gives step by step instructions for receiving realtime payouts for Symphonic tracks connected to SHARE Protocol.

PreviousConnect Track Earnings to a Smart Contract using SHARE SDKNextFor Distribution Businesses

Last updated 4 months ago

This feature is currently in pilot stage and is available to select Symphonic customers only. If you're interested in working with us, please email info@formless.xyz.

First, please ensure you've assigned royalty splits to SHARE Protocol for your track in Symphonic by following the guide.

  1. Royalty earnings from Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Pandora and Youtube Art Tracks are eligible to be paid out to you in realtime (same day) for tracks with splits assigned to SHARE Protocol. This means earnings which would otherwise take 3 months to be paid out are instead paid out daily. This capability is truly groundbreaking. In addition to getting your money faster, it means you get the benefits of being able to share revenue in realtime with fans and collaborators to drive organic high speed distribution.

  2. Once your track splits are assigned to SHARE, up to 50% of the projected earnings, as determined by realtime track analytics, will be paid out immediately to the smart contract associated with your track. To mitigate fraud, this percentage is variable and subject to change based on actual earnings performance over time. For all other supported DSPs (Facebook, Twitch, TikTok etc.) earnings are rolled up and paid out through your smart contract on a monthly basis in accordance with Symphonic's . As payments arrive, you will receive email and optional push notifications:

These notifications are also distributed to everyone else in the splits, including collaborators and/or fans. All split co-owners will be able to track earnings in the SHARE web application dashboard:

Cashing Out to Your Bank

To cash out earnings to your bank account please follow the steps in . These steps are the same for anyone in the splits for your track.

Realtime payments are delivered on a daily basis based on streaming performance across all supported DSPs.
The SHARE application dashboard is where everyone can track their earnings for co-ownership on splits.
